A Tale of Terror and Suspense on the American Frontier!

Stony Hollow. A cool deep forested cleft in the rugged bluffs lining the Mississippi River floodplain north of Burlington, Iowa. On a summer day in 1853, Dr. Obadiah Gray and his wife Annabelle come here on a botanical excursion, seeking rare wildflowers. But what they find instead is mystery, terror, and death! A strange creature is seen, prowling the countryside by night. In its wake are found the the gruesome remains of the poor souls who cross its path. Is it a fearsome beast that haunts the hollow and strikes without mercy ...or something more than a mere beast?
