Kohler's Medizinal Pflanzen in naturgetreuen Abbildungen mit kurz erläuterndem Texte, Atlas zur Pharmacopoea germanica was published in 1887 as a set of four volumes. Remarkable are the ca. 300 finely detailed illustrations of medicinal plants, which were accomplished as chromolithographs by K. Gunther.
