Issued in six fascicles over nine years, Jacquin's work, Fragmenta Botanica, figuris coloratis illustrata: ab anno 1800 ad annum 1809 per sex fasciculos edita, opera et sumptibus..., featured 138 plates of hand-colored etching and copper engravings. These plates were unsigned and 56 cm in original size.
